Approved by the FDA, the UroLift System is a minimally invasive treatment for BPH designed to help men avoid medications and major surgery. The treatment can be done with local anesthesia at urologists office during a one-time visit and requires about an hour to complete. You can expect to return home on the same day without bandages and catheters.
Photoselective vaporization of the prostate (PVP). A laser is used to melt away (vaporize) excess prostate tissue and enlarge the urinary channel. This procedure is generally used to treat prostates that are mild to moderately enlarged.
Robotic-assisted radical laparoscopic prostatectomy is accomplished using the da Vinci® Surgical System, a sophisticated robotic surgery system that allows surgeons to operate on the prostate with enhanced vision, control and precision.

The PAE procedure is for candidates who are either ineligible or not interested in traditional surgery.
The PAE procedure has a lower risk of urinary incontinence and sexual side effects (retrograde ejaculation or erectile dysfunction), when compared with more invasive surgical procedures such as a TURP / HoLEP
1.Avoid bladder irritants
Caffeine: Tea, coffee, chocolate, energy drinks etc.
2. Adjust doses of comedications esp. during long outdoor trips (Example : Diuretics, TCAs, antihistamines, CCBs, antiparkinsonian drugs)

Improving voiding of urine left in urethra: Double voiding, urethral milking*, perineal pressure*, pelvic floor contraction*, leaning forward* (*To decrease post-micturition dribble)

5. Physical activity
6. Low calorie & salt diet
7. Eat fresh fruit-vegetable-rich diet
8. Reduce water intake before travel and before going to bed .
