UROLIFT 

Approved by the FDA, the UroLift System is a minimally invasive treatment for BPH designed to help men avoid medications and major surgery. The treatment can be done with local anesthesia at urologists office during a one-time visit and requires about an hour to complete. You can expect to return home on the same day without bandages and catheters.

Photoselective vaporization of the prostate (PVP). A laser is used to melt away (vaporize) excess prostate tissue and enlarge the urinary channel. This procedure is generally used to treat prostates that are mild to moderately enlarged.
